These studies focus on the 50s of the twentieth century, which were characterized by the discussion about demythologization and the new method of historical-critical research which had appeared. Against the backdrop of the discussion about the value and limitations of this historical-critical method, a discussion which is once again of topical interest, Erich Gräßer documents the fundamental studies of Acts which were done in the second half of the last century and takes a critical look at their present status.
