Frühjudentum und Neues Testament im Horizont Biblischer Theologie

Most of the articles in this volume are the result of a symposium held to celebrate the70th birthdays of Traugott Holtz and Nikolaus Walter. In accordance with the research in which both of them were engaged, these essays focus on the early Jewish surroundings of the New Testament, the Septuagint and the question of a biblical theology. Since both of them, as students of Gerhard Delling, worked on the Corpus Judaeo-Hellenisticum Novi Testamenti (CJHNT), the appendix of this work contains previously unpublished texts concerning the history of this research project as well as reflections on its present status and on its continuation.
