Summary
Using tort liability as a model, Thomas Kadner-Graziano examines to what extent common principles of European Private International Law can be identified. He deals with the legal systems of more than 30 European countries and reveals new European perspectives for this area of law. The author's objective is to make a contribution to a cautious, well-founded harmonisation of Private International Law through the development of a European-oriented theory.
