The essays in this volume deal with fundamental problems which Hayek discussed in his critique of the socialist concepts of society and economy. The essays, published originally between 1949 and 1976, have been divided into three subject groups and arranged within each group according to the year in which they were written or in which they were first published.
This volume is part of the »Collected Works of Friedrich A. von Hayek in German«. Each volume contains a bibliographical afterword which gives the version on which the reprint of each essay is based, any previous versions which existed as well as the history of each edition and its translation. Each volume also contains an index of names and subjects. The essays in this volume deal with fundamental problems which Hayek discussed in his critique of the socialist concepts of society and economy. The essays, published originally between 1949 and 1976, have been divided into three subject groups and arranged within each group according to the year in which they were written or in which they were first published.
