Summary
Folkart Wittekind examines the evolution of Karl Barth's theology in connection with the works of Bruce McCormack. It is the author's opinion that W. Herrmann's theology did not in fact have a strong influence on the young Karl Barth. Thus instead of going into this subject, the author studies the way problems are approached in Karl Barth's own theology before 1916, using the theology of the Ritschlian School as his background.
