Summary
If God is not a metaphysical supplement to the world, the question arises as to how one has to think about God in order to be truly referring to God. Hartmut von Sass deals with this question by elaborating on three claims: God's being is identical with God's acting; this acting towards us is constituted by God's revelation for us; and finally this revelatory action amounts to a new understanding of ourselves and the world.
