In this study, Erasmus Gaß analyzes the redaction history of the conquest narratives in Josh. 9–12. It is apparent that many redactors worked on this text, which is indicated not only by the idiolect but also by the references to Deut. and the text-critical deviations. The texts examined here show how Deuteronomist redactors in particular introduced their theological conceptions.
