Günther Zuntz (1902-1992):1920-24 Studium der Klassischen Philologie und Archäologie in Berlin, Marburg, Götingen und Graz; 1925 Promotion; anschließend Lehrer in Marburg; 1934 Emigration nach England; 1947/48 Berufung als Senior Lecturer an die Universität Manchester; 1963 Professor of Hellenistic Greek in Manchester; 1969 Emeritierung; 1983 Verleihung des Ehrendoktors durch die Fakultät für Kulturwissenschaften der Universität Tübingen; Mitglieder der Heidelberger Akademie der Wissenschaften.

Hubert Cancik ist Professor emeritus für klassische Philologie an der Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen.

Lutz Käppel ist Professor für Klassische Philologie, insbes. Gräzistik in Kiel.
