Grundloses Vertrauen

In this book, Andrea Lassak aims to determine the relation of trust and faith. Brought into focus are the so-called 'forms of basic trust' and the Christian trust in God. The author starts from the theological concept of trust given by Wolfhart Pannenberg who was the first 20th century theologian to include Erik H. Erikson's investigations of developmental psychology in German theology and on that basis advocated a distinct transformative relation between early childhood 'basic trust' and religious trust in God. In a critical analysis of Pannenberg's argument, Andrea Lassak advances an alternative in the tradition of hermeneutic theology.
