This book contains previously unpublished works by Ernst Käsemann, who would have been 100 years old in 2006. His writings are known for combining historical exegesis, theological argumentation and an analysis of church policy at that time. Käsemann's theology is a theology which originated in the Christian church and was developed for the Christian church. His position is a counterexample to the division of theology into disciplines which have nothing more to do with one another. Käsemann insisted on the unity of theology and theological existence.
