Thus, the authorities responsible in the Community Member States are provided with the information they require in order to carry out administrative measures which are indicated by Community law or to prepare Community policies. . The number of information systems, which are a special kind of inter-administrative cooperation, is on the rise. Information systems can satisfy the increasing need for information more efficiently than other limited information obligations.
