Summary
Gregory L. Reece explores the relationship between philosophy and religious belief while introducing the work of Søren Kierkegaard, Ludwig Wittgenstein and Richard Rorty. His conclusion, that philosophy of religion should be primarily descriptive rather than prescriptive, offers a third way between philosophy as criticism of religion and philosophy as advocate of religion.
