Summary
The core theme of the latest volume of the yearbook is the election and its role at the centre of all democratic processes. Contradictions and options for the reform of federal elections in Germany are dealt with, while comparative contributions examine electoral debates in France and Italy. A second focus is on the impact feminist approaches have had on the development of inclusive approaches to the law. The comparative constitutional law section is this year dedicated to the role of constitutional courts in Eastern Europe and presidential systems in Latin America. The usual series of articles on general issues of public law and portraits of famous lawyers complete the volume.
