The focus of Volume 64 (2016) is the relationship between the office and the person. How are offices shaped by individuals and how do these reflect back on the officeholder? This year's debate asks whether tax law has become an innovation resource of the constitution and many of the texts contained in the essays section are reactions to current problems and disputes. Portraits and Retrospectives pays particular tribute to Hans F. Zachers while Japanese authors give this year's foreign law contributions a special accent.
