Summary
The articles in this volume provide new research on social and political power as well as on the relationship between power and the theory of fairness. In recent years, publications on power measures have substantially increased. It is obvious that the application of power indices to political institutions, and to the analysis of the European Union in particular, is becoming more and more popular. However there are also new theoretical instruments and perspectives which support these applications, and they are also discussed in this volume.
