Summary
Jerusalem combines the expectations and hopes of the classical monotheistic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam as well as the modern religion of Bahaʼi. Individual buildings are of particular importance: the empty space of the Temple, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Dome of the Rock.
