Jesus

In a close exegetical reference to the Gospel of Mark, with the addition of the Sermon on the Mount, the Lord's Prayer and the Beatitudes (Matthew), Joachim Ringleben develops a systematic-theological understanding of Jesus' path from baptism to the passion. In this work, Jesus' special relationship to God becomes the hermeneutic key to a new understanding of God as a »God of the Son.« The author shows that, from the perspective of theology, Jesus' relationship to God can be seen as the place in which God reveals himself and finds himself. In doing so, the author provides new possibilities for dogmatic Christology.
