The authors of the articles in this volume study the developments in European capital markets legislation. They deal with capital markets transparency as a European principle of regulation and the law from the perspective of legal economics and dogmatics and explore the governmental and non-governmental regulatory mechanisms in capital markets law. In addition, they investigate the dogmatics of the regulatory lawmaking and look into the basic principles of self-regulation.
