Summary
The right to strike is at odds with the theological and canonical concepts of the two main Christian churches, and has been replaced in the ecclesial sphere with a process of collective regulation respectful of confession: the »third way«. Benjamin Weller examines how far and under which conditions the churches can leave out the right to bargain and strike.
