Christoph Thole is a university professor and, since 2016, director of the Institute for Procedural Law and Insolvency Law and the Institute for International and European Insolvency Law at the University of Cologne.

Christoph Althammer is Professor of Civil Law, German, European and International Procedural Law, Private International Law, as well as Alternative Dispute Resolution at the University of Regensburg.
