As is every act of communication, prayer is an expression of the relationship between the believers, God, and Christ. For the first time, Karl-Heinrich Ostmeyer studies how all the authors of the New Testament were able to translate their specific concepts of the relationship to God and Christ into practice with the help of the terminology of prayer.
