A Kel Ewey Tuareg owns about 130 things. The use of these "requisites” is long-lasting and varied; owning them does not indicate poverty or wealth as it is known in Europe. Based on more than 30 years of field research among the Kel Ewey of Timia, Gerd Spittler examines how the Tuareg deal with their objects. Three hundred of the author's photographs complement the presentation.
