Summary

The present volume is the third part of an edition together with a German translation and commentary of Hebrew and Aramaic magic texts from the Cairo Genizah. The detailed analysis attempts to elucidate the deep and complex interrelations between Greco-Roman magic from Late Antiquity, Arabic tradition and medieval Jewish magic.
