Summary
The Max Weber-Studienausgabe (MWS) renders Max Weber's works and speeches accessible to a large audience, using the complete and reliable Max Weber-Gesamtausgabe (MWG) as its basis while deliberately dispensing with its editional apparatus. It has however been laid out in such a manner that the reader can easily fall back on the MWG. This volume is a collection of texts written by Max Weber from 1900 to 1913 which focus on his structural analysis of agrarian and industrial capitalism as well as on his social policy located between state socialism and laissez-faire liberalism. In addition, the volume provides an insight into Max Weber's views on constitutional policy, which at that time were already strongly oriented towards a parliamentarization of the Reich's constitution. His support of resolutions on significant political issues at that time round off the picture.
