Summary
The medical laws of Germany and Japan are confronted with similar ethical and legal conflicts and questions in the context of medical care at the end of life, but in some cases their answers to these do however vary. This makes it all the more important to remedy this lack of knowledge by way of a transnational dialogue on the subject.
