Matthias Weller ist Inhaber der Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach-Professur für Bürgerliches Recht, Kunst- und Kulturgutschutzrecht sowie Direktor des Instituts für deutsches und internationales Zivilverfahrensrecht an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.

Christoph Althammer ist Professor für Bürgerliches Recht, Deutsches, Europäisches und Internationales Verfahrensrecht, Internationales Privatrecht sowie außergerichtliche Streitbeilegung an der Universität Regensburg.
