Summary
Stephan Neidhardt argues in favor of a »dynamic« comparison of legal systems for a better understanding of European administrative law. He traces the reception and development of two legal institutions from their creation in the administrative law of one Member State to Community law and finally to their implementation in the law of another Member State. This work was awarded the »Carl-von-Rotteck-Preis« 2008 by the University of Freiburg and the »Rhodia-Acetow-Nachwuchsförderpreis« 2008 by the Frankreich-Zentrum at the University of Freiburg.
