Summary
Rudolf Bultmann's work is of great importance to Christian theology and to the Christian church. The 18 theological studies in this volume, written between 1925 and 1971, give an overall view of Bultmann's contributions to the discussion on hermeneutics, Christian ethics and the theological exegesis of the New Testament. In his short introduction, the editor explains the essays and refers to their historical and theological context. The index can be used to connect the individual essays to each other systematically.
