For the 2nd edition, Andreas Suchanek has thoroughly revised the book and has added examples in several places. This edition also comprises sections about the systematic connection between freedom, responsibility and trust and corporate responsibility.
This book presents and exemplifies a theory of an economic ethics which aims at a reconciliation of morals and self-interest. Based on this theory, the author examines the prerequisites for investments in social cooperation for mutual advantage.
For the 2nd edition, Andreas Suchanek has thoroughly revised the book and has added several examples. This edition contains new ideas about the systematic connection between freedom, responsibility and trust which are also used to develop a conclusive concept of corporate responsibility.
