Reflecting the dynamic development of Pauline research during the last two decades, the essays included in this volume at the same time serve the development of an own Pauline interpretation: beyond the new, the radical new and the »Paul within Judaism« perspectives on Paul. Paul is understood as a figure in the European history of ideas whose impact, however, has long since become a global one.
