Summary
Philosophies of Practice does not speak about practice, but rather of the practising of practices. The Handbook spans an arc from philosophy's Greek beginnings to Hegel and materialistic positions, and from the philosophy of language, to pragmatic, anthropologic and phenomenological experiences of practice in the twentieth century. At the same time, it makes a fundamental contribution to changing practice in the cultural sciences and humanities.
