Summary
The legal sources in private international law (PIL) have become a tangle of conflicting regulations. There are national PIL rules, European PIL rules and public international PIL rules - the product of legal history. In this thesis, the author describes the issues within and between the different legislative levels and attempts to find solutions to these conflicts.
