This is a collection of articles by Hans-Josef Klauck from the years 1995-2002, expanded by a substantial new contribution on monotheism and polytheism in Graeco-Roman, Jewish and Christian writings mainly of the first two centuries CE. Most of the articles are characterized by an approach from the history of religions point of view enriched by aspects of social history.
