Restitution und Bereicherungsausgleich in Europa

In this work, the author deals with restitutionary remedies and compensation for unjustified enrichment in cases of improvements made on someone else's property, wrongful acts and in situations where more than two persons are involved and the enrichment of the defendant could be regarded as indirect. Analyzing these subjects from the standpoint of comparative law, the author minimizes the significance of national concepts of law, dogmatic structures and technical instruments and in their place focuses on the values on which the results and the solutions found in the legal systems examined are based.
