The Schwäbisches Handwörterbuch consists of two parts. In the first part, the user is provided with a »Swabian-German« dictionary, and the second part facilitates the reader's access from standard German to Swabian. Anyone who is not at all or just barely familiar with the Swabian dialect will find an aid to familiarizing themselves with the corresponding dialect word in this second part.
