As credit collateral, intellectual property has generally been relegated to the sidelines. This work does away with the existing legal uncertainty and provides a solid dogmatic basis for intellectual property contract law. The author does a comparative study, using the UNCITRAL Legislative Guide on Secured Transactions, puts particular emphasis on the conflict of laws provisions and examines the possibilities of reform.
