Summary
Rochus Leonhardt discusses the relationship between Protestantism and scepticism in a critical analysis of the philosophical approach used by Odo Marquard. He shows that the most important goal of Marquard's philosophy was to establish a pluralism in hermeneutics. In view of this fact, the author questions the extent to which such a pluralism is related to the Protestant emphasis on the Scriptures.
