Summary
The phase between the end of the German Empire and the establishment of the Weimar Republic marks a deep caesura. The contributions in this volume investigate whether and to what extent foundations were laid during this time for the criminal law institutions and intellectual figures which shaped the Weimar Republic and - in radicalised form - continued to have an effect up until the Nazi era.
