Systematische Theologie

This textbook offers an introductory presentation of systematic theology as well as its topics and problems. It treats the place of systematic theology within academic theology, its internal structure, and the history of the discipline with a view to the changes in its self-understanding as a theological discipline. On this basis, the textbook addresses all relevant doctrinal elements of a theological dogmatics from the perspective of the history of problems. Users of the textbook are introduced to systematic theology as a scholarly presentation of the Christian religion, one intended to stimulate their own further reflection.
