Summary
The essays in this collection focus on the judicial work surrounding the facts of a case and on the rules - a subject which was a central part of Oskar Hartwieg's research work. Convinced that German civil procedure was inferior to English civil procedure in international competition, he attempted to track down the weak points in German law in order to create new approaches and make suggestions for improvement.
