The Historical Location of P

Although there is an enduring, general consensus regarding the identification of the Priestly Writings (P), there are nonetheless several open questions related to this important literary stratum in the Pentateuch. One of these crucial and debated questions is the dating and location of the Priestly texts. The contributors of this collected volume seek to better situate the Priestly Writings both temporally and geographically.
