Pedro S. d. M. Aleixo develops a model of prescriptive methodology for the creation of judicial decisions which provides transparency for the allocation of responsibility involved in this process. By distinguishing between interpretation and lawmaking as they refer to responsibility, the judicial interpretation of law becomes more objective and the creation of law by the judge easier to manage.
