Summary
The lapse of time in criminal law has not been researched much up till now. Martin Asholt changes this by putting the subject on a firmer basis. He does so by casting light on the relationship between the thinking of the times and legal theory. From these fundamental insights thus gained into the concept of lapse of time, the author draws consequences for its development and interpretation as it currently stands legally, and gives it increased clarity.
