The jurisdiction of cross-border litigation within the European Union under the Brussels Ibis Regulation is examined by Magdalena Januszkiewicz in this study. Analysing the distinction between claims in contract and claims in tort under Article 7(1) and 7(2) of the Brussels Ibis Regulation, she evaluates liability regimes across eight European countries.
