Summary
The author studies who is entitled to exercise the right to alter a legal relationship if the parties to the contract change, giving as an example the right of withdrawal. Up to now it has not been possible to provide a satisfactory answer to this question from the perspective of legal dogmatics. In addition to the development of a consistent solution, the author deals with the institution of inherency in the contract.
