Völkerrechtsordnung und Völkerrechtsbruch

Focusing on the ius contra bellum - the prohibition on the use of force in international law - this study explores the phenomena of contestation of norms and of illegality. It develops a typology of illegality that provides the conceptual framework to better understand the partly constructive but also partly destructive effects of deviance in international law.
