Germany´s feed-in tariff for renewable energy power production has proven to be very successful but also imposes high costs on most consumers. Daniel Sliwiok-Born analyzes the historical and predicted scope of these costs, proposes a more cost efficient solution and discusses the consistency of this proposal with German and European law.
