It seems that constitutional law does not belong to the current political agenda. As a subject for exams and legal training, it has been institutionalized by universities and rendered encyclopedic by libraries. Eike Michael Frenzel reveals three different approaches to constitutional law which differ from conventional dogmatic-systematic approaches: constitutional stories focusing on individuals (eg. Lüth, Soraya, Flick) and locations (such as Lebach and Brokdorf), constitutional metaphors, allegories and images, and hypothetical options for constitutional developments that demonstrate why the traditional solutions are often the best.
