The Einheit der Gesellschaftswissenschaften (EdG) series publishes monographs and in exceptional cases multi-authored works which contribute to the critique of and the innovation in the basic theoretical and methodological principles of economics and the social sciences and in doing so bridge the gap between the disciplines. One of the first volumes was Karl Popper's Logik der Forschung, which was the bestseller in this series as well until there was a new edition as part of the Collected Works. The definitive contributions to this series are committed to methodological individualism and critical realism.
All the books published in this series have been subjected to a review by at least two of the editors and have been accepted for the series unanimously by all the editors.
