Crises and the Law

 

Crises - whether political, economic, social, ecological, or health-related - pose particular challenges for the law and state institutions. Legal systems must respond flexibly to exceptional situations, while upholding the principles of the rule of law and carefully weighing legal interests against each other. The debates for which Mohr Siebeck provides a platform are as diverse as the concept of crisis itself.
